Unemployment

This is definitely not how I look today!!! I had three wisdom teeth taken out this morning and I have spent the day cooling my swollen face :-( The surgery itself was painless and fast, the pain arrives when the anesthesia leaves...

Last week a professional photographer took some photos for me... I hope that will raise my chances to find a job. :-)))

Back in Germany

Long time no see :-) I'm back in Germany, struggling to find my way here. Although I have to say: Germany is not too bad :-))) I expected it to be worse!

Telphin
I left Russia on Wednesday, April 19th after a great party weekend.
I got a great cat for snuggles from my co-workers (the white thing above, won't tell the name) and we had an excellent last party in the office and on the street. Thank you for a great year in the office with you guys! :-)

Friends
I also enjoyed the trainees' company and partying very much! So, correctly written on the T-Shirt (excellent idea, Laura) "Piter - beer party". Thanks for all the wonderful and thoughtful presents!!! The best memories... until we meet again!

The train station was a hard bit, but thanks to Daniel bearable. Thanks to all who made it to the train station to say bye :-( Special thanks to Tyoma for the Formel 1 ride through the city!!!

Riga
Daniel and I went on a 2-day-trip to Riga, Latvia and had a great time. Riga is beautiful, although Tallinn might be a tiny bit nicer ;-) Travelling made leaving Russia much easier; distraction always helps ;-) We did a great deal of sightseeing and partying and met loads of interesting people. I even met a German girl who is my age, was born in the East of Germany like me and now lives in the city where my parents live, in a street not far away:-) Yay!

Berlin
Of course, I had to pay a lot for my heavy luggage... "No I don't have any Lats left, can I pay in Euro? No? Hm, where is the bank? Well, bank is closed, wait until it opens..." However, Easyjet took me back home safely and my dear mom was waiting for me in Berlin. Did I mention that traveling is a good distraction? Well, Berlin was awesome!!! Such a beautiful city! And I realized that Germany is not too bad;-)

First week in Germany is over: Had a job interview that went well, but I don't want the job. I drove about 1000km last week. Visited my grandma, aunt and uncle in Köthen. Haven't seen my dad yet, although he lives only a few streets away. Now I'm in Göttingen trying to fight the feeling "Was a nice vacation, I'm ready to go back to normal now, I wanna go back to St. Petersburg!"
Remember Pawel from Poland who I met in Piter last summer? The crazy Polish guy who would never drink beer although he had to hang out with three heavy drinkers every day? Pawel and a very good friend of his stopped by on Saturday and left this morning:-) They did Hamburg, Braunschweig, Göttingen and Berlin in three days. Can you believe it?
I will miss the craziness :-(((
It is very sunny and green here.
I haven't found jeans yet. Sonya, enjoy my old ones :-)))
And the shoes fashion is simply horrible! Now I regret not having done more shoe shopping in good old Russia.
Göttingen is great! And Mama, I love you!

Hope you are all well! Take care! :-)
